Brief Biography

Professor Tarek Allam has been a research scientist in Plasma and Nuclear Fusion Department, Nuclear Research Center, Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority, Cairo, since 1994. He is, currently, a professor and a member of the Plasma Focus and Cold Plasma Laboratory Group and the head of the Plasma and Nuclear Fusion Department.

Professor Tarek's current research interests include: cold plasma applications, plasma medicine, plasma focus as a soft X-ray source for lithography, Argon SXR optimization techniques, plasma bubbles technology, Cold Plasma blood coagulation and wound healing, plasma-activated water applications, protection against radiation.
