In 2018, Mohamed Khalaf has appointed as a teaching assistant upon ranking among the top in his BSc studies at the Physics Department, Faculty of Science, Sohag University. In 2020, he finished the MSc courses in biophysics (plasma medicine) and now pursuing his MSc thesis. In this thesis, Khalaf's focus is on designing atmospheric plasma devices such as plasma jets and floating electrode DBD and utilizing them in several fields such as material science, cultural heritage conservation, agriculture, and medical research.
