Brief Biography
Dr. Hanaa M. Soliman received the B.Sc. degree from the Faculty of Girls, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, in 1971, the M.Sc. degree from the Faculty of Science, Cairo University, Cairo, in 1978, and the Ph.D. degree from the Faculty of Science, Tanta University, Tanta, Egypt, in 1984.
Since 1972, she has been with the Plasma and Nuclear Fusion Department, Nuclear Research Center, Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority (EAEA), Cairo, where she became an Associate Professor and a Professor of plasma physics in 1989 and 1994, respectively. She was the Head of the Plasma and Nuclear Fusion Department and the Division of Materials and Nuclear Manufacturing and a member of the EAEA Scientific Committee for Physics and Mathematics (Professor and Assistant Professor degrees).
She is currently the Group Leader of the Plasma Focus Lab. and a member of the Cold Plasma Laboratory Group. Her current research interests include plasma accelerators, plasma focus, and nonthermal plasma jet, and their applications.
