Biography
Professor Dr. Mohamad AKEL is an expert in plasma and nuclear fusion, with over 25 years of experience in plasma research and applications. He currently serves as the Research Director at the Physics Department of the Syrian Atomic Energy Commission. He has made significant contributions to the fields of plasma, nuclear fusion, and scientific outreach.
Research Focus
Studying of the fusion hot plasma focus and its applications (X-Ray, neutrons, high energy electron and ion beams, nano-structured thin films, surface modification and etc..).
